Job Title: Licensed Vocational NurseJob Type: Full-timeLocation: Visalia, CAAbout the Job:Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide high-quality patient care in the home setting. As a key member of our care team, you will work closely with patients and their families to develop and implement personalized care plans.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the home setting, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Assess patient condition and care needs, and report changes to the supervisor and/or physician as appropriate.
• Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner.
• Participate in the development and implementation of the nursing care plan.
• Provide education to patients and families on disease processes, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • One year of experience required working under current nursing license.Preferred Qualifications:
    • Six months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
    • Home health experience.Working Conditions:
      • Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments, including exposure to allergens and other conditions.
      • Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.
