• Employment Type: TravelAdditional DetailsTrauma Level3Charting SystemCernerUnit Notes- Unit: L&D/PP- # L&D Beds: 14 beds- # triage beds: 6 triage beds, 2 OR suites- # Postpartum beds: 28 beds- # births per day, per year: 250 births per month- Certs: ACLS, BLS, Fetal HM - AWOHNN (adv) for L&D, BLS, NRP required for Postpartum- Ratios: 2 to 1 laboring, follow AWOHNN guidelines, 1 to 4 couplet care- FHM System: Fetal Link- EMR: Cerner- Charge Nurse: yes - they try not to take a patient assignment- Nurse Aides/OB tech: OB tech - yes, day and night shift- Weekend Requirement: every other- Call Requirement: no - may have to be on standby- Holidays: they will work them in with perm staff rotation- Scrub Color: Nurses - navy for PP, ob tech and L&D nurses - seal blue (provided)- Tele: Phillips- Vents: No- OB/Neonataologist in house: No but available if needed- IV Team: No- RT 24/7: Yes- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes- Shifts: 12 hr shifts - 7a-7p or 7p-7a- C-section experience required: Will be required to circulate for c-sections.
